10 steps for successful KYC verification in the Pi network

5/5 - (2 votes)

Howdy Friends, welcome back to the moneybingos. The pioneers of the Pi Network must complete KYC verification in order to start transferring their Pi tokens to the mainnet. Therefore, those who haven’t finished their KYC should do so; right now in order to start using their acquired Pi coins as soon as feasible. Understanding the KYC procedure is not very challenging. However, some of the customers are having issues and have questions regarding the Pi KYC system, including how to access the “Pi KYC Verification” option and what kind of ID documentation is needed.

So friends, a few official documents are needed for KYC verification, and the applicant must meet specific requirements. You must thus be aware of the prerequisites before beginning the actual application procedure.

Documents needed for KYC Verification

Friends, anyone across the world can apply for Pi network KYC, if they have;

Government-issued ID

It includes Passport, Driving License, and any National ID. Out of this I personally recommend using your passport as Identity. You will be required to take a photo of your ID rather than upload a previously stored image; therefore you must have the actual copy of a government-issued document on hand.

Camera phone for liveness check

You will be prompted to hold your phone’s camera in front of your face, and the system will automatically capture your face. Be prepared for a liveness check. To confirm that you are the person whose ID has been presented, you will need to provide this photo. Therefore, before beginning the verification procedure, make sure your face is clearly visible and matches the one on your ID.

Note :

You need to keep one thing in mind here a new Pioneer cannot immediately apply for KYC verification for obvious reasons that is; they must mine Pi for at least 30 days.

Pi Network’s own platform, the Pi Browser, has functionality for Mainnet, KYC verification, and other functions. A KYC solution developed by the developers enables a bigger number of consumers to complete their KYC in very less time.

Ten steps for the successful verification of the KYC process

  • Step-1:- Install the Pi Browser app first; it is accessible through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. If you already have it on your device, simply go straight to step 2.
  • Step-2:- Go to the Mainnet section of the Pi Network app by opening it. The Mainnet selection is located on the side menu with three lines.
  • Step-3:- you need to complete all of the steps on the Mainnet checklist up until the KYC verification task by tapping on it.
  • Step-4:- Once you have completed the requirements outlined before the KYC verification in step three, tap the start button in the KYC section. If it doesn’t work, manually initiate the application process by going to the “kyc.pi” section of the Pi Browser app.
  • Step-5:- Here, you will be prompted to select the nation or country from the drop-down option on the first screen after accessing the KYC part of the Pi Browser software. Choose the country that is listed on your official ID.
  • Step-6:- The sixth step is for you to decide which ID you wish to use for verification; I recommend using a passport here if you have one. If not, then you can use other national IDs too.
  • Step-7:- Here, Four more slides will appear outlining how to utilize the ID and how to proceed correctly. You should carefully read them before pressing the next button.
  • Step-8:- In this step “Add front photo” option should now be visible on the screen. The camera will start recording when you tap it. Just take a good picture of the front of your ID. If your ID has a back with the required details, provide a back photo as well and save the image in a horizontal position.
  • Step-9:- You will be taken to a page where you must provide the same details as on the ID document after submitting the ID photo.
  • Step-10:- It’s time for a liveness check to verify that you are a genuine person once you submit the form. The front camera will immediately switch on when you hit the “I’m Ready” button. To ensure that your face is clearly seen, you must hold the camera in front of your face.

Conclusion

Friends, that’s all you need to do for KYC verification. It is a very simple process you just need to follow on-screen instructions and the steps that I have mentioned above. Now keep in mind guys that, it may take a few days or even months to hear back on your KYC application after you submit it. So, keep patience and start mining Pi. Thanks for being our precious reader and have a prosperous life.
